The Beauty of Tyria

I've been going around taking screen caps for use as desktops and a lot of them turned out really good, I'd like to share some of my favorites, feel free to post your own if you have some nice looking landscape shots. I will post more as I take more, too.

very nice, i perosnally like #1 & #3 the best. I would like #2, but that branch wood thing on the far left is in the way

omg the new pic without the tree thing in the way is an OWNAGE wallpaper

also, i REALLY like the latest 2 lion arch ones. Water/ocean/sea (whatever) makes it look great

Very nice picture, i find myself taking a lot of pictures too, but none as good as these

The first one is one of my favorites, and I've been using it as a wallpaper for awhile now. It's the mission complete screen for Riverside Province.

The second is possibly my favorite spot in Tyria, right next to storage in Druid's Overlook. I'm particularly proud of it, as several friends asked me if was a press photo when I showed it to them. (Course, my laptop Graphics card's only a Radeon 9800, so its not press photo quality, sadly, but its still a neat shot, IMO)

I'm using a screenshot from TESIV: Oblivion as wallpaper.

That game is going to be beautiful. Unfortunately, its combat system will probably suck as much as Morrowind's did.

Love that last LA one with the ship and lighthouse, silverwood, and the one with the bridge in the moonlight.

These are some really good pictures, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who stops and appreciates the great work the developers have done with the landscapes.

Very nice, may I ask how you took these pictures? Like without all the HP and MP bars, skill bars, etc

Hold shift when you press printscreen, it hides the GUI while it takes the screenshot.

I must say, the last one by spiritofcat *the shiverpeak one) is now my wallpaper i think its very good yet simple

Yeah, shift+print screen does it, or CTRL+SHIFT+H will hide your interface while you're playing.
To vanish your character, just zoom all the way in, but you probably already knew that.

I look at those screen shots and think to myself "DAMN I HAVE ONE SHITTY ASS GRAPHICS CARD". Those look nice btw

This should keep you all occupied for a while.

Here's a dump of 40 or so images out of hundreds that i've taken that i like a lot. oh.. these are all full 1680x1050, for those wide-screeners out there.
