Not even. Major earth runes go for 120, and since the patch, you have a 100% guaruntee of getting the rune if you salvage with an expert kit. So I think you could sell it for 100 gold if you find the right person.

in a time sensative manner its better to id it salvage it and sell it to the rune trader than piss around and try and sell major runes anymore.

People just by them from the rune trader now.
