Attribute quests...

Ok so i know where the first attribute quest is. In the desert, the snake type creature gives it to you.

Yet the secound still eludes me, i've good reason to beleive it's around the droknars area, and that the npx nearest to the storage gives it to you, but i cannot find where to get it.

Can some one PLEASE, give me instructions to which quests activate your ability to get it? And which npc gives it to you. Please.

From Droknar's, go to Ice Caves and do that mission. That will take you to Iron Mines of Moladrune.

From the Iron Mines, take the portal and head west (not the mission) to Copperhammer. Just outside Copperhammer is the person you're supposed to talk to and follow to do the quest. I highly recommend you warp into Copperhammer first before attemptint this quest though. Not only does Copperhammer have a skills guy, but there's a pretty good chance of the party getting wiped out at least once before teh quest is complete. It's a short one, but it can get pretty nasty.

Oh, Vanyi in Droknar's Forge gives you the Quest, "A Hero's Challenge" I think. She's next to the storage agents.

Than I must've been lucky, since I did none - than again, I got something about "Mesmer Path" mentioned for a split second back there - but since I was secondary mesmer already... Er... Dunno.

Which is quite probably the main reason you haven't found it, Vanyi is easy to find, she also give a hero's path quest.

The ghosts won't give you a quest for the secondary you already have. You can only do the ones for the secondaries you don't have. And you don't need to change professions, just complete the quest.

Not me. I talked to Vanyi and she had two quests for me at the same time. This has been the case with 3 characters for me so far. One was to talk to the people in the desert and the other was to talk to her sister outside of the iron mines. Both are two separate quests and one does not relate to the other.

One quest was to visit three desert outposts and the other was the attribute quest. I did not accept, attempt or complete any second profession quests prior.

You don't have to change professions.

I had to do one of the profession quest for both my ranger and necromancer to get the second attrib quest. Not sure if its that you need the quest in your quest log or have completed the main objective, from what you are saying, it maybe that you just need to have one of the quests in you quest log.

That has indeed been changed.

Vanyi (sp?) will now give both quests simultaneously whereas previously Hero's Journey had to be completed before she assigned Hero's Challenge.

Perhaps it was changed because people had too rough a time figuring out what it took to start Hero's Challenge.

I actually miss the old way, it was one of the longer and more interesting multi-part quests, requiring you to travel to a different continent to advance and to do enough that you felt as if you "earned" those last 15.

Oh well...some like it nice and easy, I like it nice and difficult.
