2 quick weapon questions avout upgrades and customizing

ok i got 2 quick questions 1 is if u customize a weapon can u sell it to sumone else and it still be recustomized?? or will it stay sucky..

2nd any way to tell what part of a item the upgrades are attached too cause i got this staff that i want to put a hale staff head on but i dont want to put it over this other upgrade any way to figure it out??

Actually oh uh hale is the prefix. So the staff head is the prefix I think? Then the wrapping is the suffix. Hope that was what you were asking.

A customized item is that character's forever. No trading.

Upgrades that replace the prefix have a prefix - Zealous Sword Hilts, Insightful Staff Heads, etc. Upgrades that replace the suffix have a suffix - Bow Grip of Fortitude, Staff Wrapping of Enchanting. They replace the prefix or suffix on the weapon you're upgrading.

As far as upgrades go, look at the name. Take this staff example:

Insightful Accursed Staff of Fortitude

The first word, Insightful, is the current staff head upgrade. The Fortitude bit is the staff wrapping.

well you can't sell it to another player but you ca sell it to a merchant
