Um, since when has 'everything' been devoted to PvP? This is the first major update addressing PvP concerns. Like it or not, PvP is the primary focus of the game. If they wanted PvE to be that focus, don't you think they'd have made it a bit longer?
PvP killing is mindless? Opponents in PvP are controlled by a living, thinking brain (well, most of the time, heh) and not a repetitive AI script. In PvE, an interrupter can pretty much gain tremendous ability to control and contain a mob they've fought several times, just by watching its skill chain. For example, in the Maguuma Jungle, I learned quickly that Fevered Devourers open with Deathly Chill, then use Enfeebling Blood, and thereby could Distracting shot them out of it every time without fail, saving my team from Weakness. Its not that simple against a human being.
Also, 9/10ths of PvP players do NOT have all their runes or skills unlocked. Ask veterans who have played hundreds of hours and not hit a single superior.
Intern, judging by most of your posts in various threads throughout this board, I think you may have bought the wrong game for your tastes. Guild Wars is very much not Everquest without a monthly fee. I'm sorry it hasn't met your expectations, but you can't force the game to be something other than what it is.
