Armor for W/N

I am lvl 10 and a Warrior Necro, and I'm thinking of what armor I would want for later. Right now I have the better Ascalon set (50 armor, 10 vs physical, reduces melee dmg), but since I use energy a bit I was thinking of maybe going for gladiator which gives me 8 energy total, but doesnt have reduce melee dmg (not sure how much it helps), and only gives 10 vs physical.

So should I go for more energy, reduced melee dmg taken, or the most armor vs physical? Thanks for the input!

Knights reduces 1` damage melee, no matter how many pieces you have. Use platemail for superior defence (or wyvren if you're cheap like that) and add a major absorption rune for 2 absorb. That's the equivalent of full plate with a superior absorption.

So get Wyvern armor and add absorption runes to all the pieces? I have the Wyvern helm and it looks pretty cool, so I guess the rest does too.

I believe you can only have one rune of any one type at a time... absorption, even at a minor level, on all pieces would only net you an absorption +1 (at a superior level would only get you a +3, for one of the superiors)... At least that's the way it normally works with Runes (they don't stack)... If apsorption is different, I've got a W who'll need to benefit from that...

Yep, I said use *one* piece of knights for the full absorption bonus, and otherwise use platemail. Oh and a helmet of the weapon mastery you use for added offensive damage. You can also add *one* major absorption rune, so that you get a reduction of 2 damage. Added to the piece of knights, you're basically using full plate mail and one superior absorption rune.

Knight's is -2 damage. Use one piece for the full benefit.

Use Gladiator's for everything else. The difference in defense is negligible (80+20 vs 85+10), and 5 energy always helps. If you prefer appearance to effectiveness, take Platemail for the rest of your armor for that sexy heavy look.
