Ho Hum.. PvPer's should be very happy though ![]() |
One final note: Some of you will wonder if we've forgotten that ascended characters with obsidian armor need challenges too... Don't worry. You're next. |

Doesn't sound logical. What would the point of mid-level upgrades be then? Why bother with them if you could just get min and max? |

Added a way for multiple players to more easily synchronize their emote animations. By following your emote command with a space and an asterisk, you indicate your emote should begin on the next 10 second pulse. For example, typing “/dance *” causes your character to wait until the next 10 second pulse to begin dancing. If several players do this before the next pulse, they will all begin dancing simultaneously. |

20 minutes to unlock a skill at level 20 through PvE, 1-2 hours to unlock a skill through PvP, that seems fair |

Now, how are the pve and pvp rewards balanced? Simple answer, they're not. |

By looking at things, faction based unlocks aren't something that are meant to let you quickly unlock everything starting from scratch. They're there to give you enough unlocks to retool your build quickly should the need arise, max out your weapon mods and runes through natural PvP play, and completely make a new build on a semi-regular basis, probably once a week for a casual player. That feels roughly right to me. Now if you're a wannbe PvE completionist trapped in the body of a PvPer, who must absolutely have everything unlocked asap, obviously you'll whine about the advancement being too slow. But the acquisition rate is fast enough to allow the dynamic retooling of builds that you need to have a level PvP playing field.
