Is this skill really all that good? It's just a temporary solution. Wouldn't it be wiser to bring along a Restore Life or Ressurect?

A short cast time of 4 along with the benefits you get from restarting with full energy/life *and* no DP if you get killed again makes this a very solid PvP res and a nice mid-battle PvE res. That is, unless you're fighting a group packing lots of enchantment removal.

After the battle is over let the person with the real res revive the guy.

Usually people aren't very happy even though they do not get the DP when they die from Vengence.

i use it to stop griefiers when i need a certain eleite and Unyielding Aura when I don't really need any of my other ones.

They fixed the thing with Divine Intervention. Now the target WILL die if the auras ends or gets canceled (both of them).
