Can my pve character unlock runes and gain faction if he plays in the tomb and competes in the hoh?

Does my pve player even play in the same server as pvp players if i play in the tombs?

So could i earn faction?

If so whats the point of pvp if you can use your god like pve player.

Generally speaking, PvP characters are usually more "god-like" than non-PvP characters because you can construct your own weapon, etc.
One of the exceptions I can think of is if a character purchased a very nice weapon, thus not unlocking the really good mods.

Because it's not about the 1 player on his/her own in pvp, it's about playing as a team. And we're not all gods. You still have to work out a plan, a build for your team, a build for you, and then still fight together and work as a team to deck the other teams.
