11 Sword
10 Divine Favor
10 Healing Prayers

Aura of faith
Divine Boon
Healing touch
Sever Artery
Gash
Galrash slash
Hamstring
Savage slash

This would be a class with reasonably good dps with a snare with the ability to self heal for 200+ every 5 seconds. I have not played this game and am unsure how easy it is to interrupt a 3/4 sec cast. It might be better to go hammer to knockdown interruptors to heal or to switch out a sword skill (most likely galrath slash or savage slash) for a backup heal like orison of healing.

Enchantment stripping might be GG for this build but the enchantments have low recast timers and low energy costs.

Any feedback is very welcome.

Well.....
it would work.

But the big question is as always; "why do it?"

The things a Mo/W can do, you can do better elsewhere.

Another route could be Deadly Riposte, Riposte, Gladiators Stance = a lot of defense, a lot of damage, if you are a melee target.

All that healing you throw about, you will still be subject to immense incoming damage, you sure its the best route to heal like that? I dont think you will be able to keep up anyhow.

Could go Tactics and
- Victory is Mine
- Watch Yourself!
- use a shield

=60+15+20 = 95 AL

This way you will tank as well as a normally equipped warrior without a shield, which they tend to wear anyhow, huh?

Victory is Mine aided by
Axe Twist
Axe Rake
Dismember

or
Gash
Sever Artery
(Hamstring (costs too much!)

The axe route will leave you with TONS of mana to spare. not sure what you should use that for with 4 arrows of mana already.

Class: Monk / Warrior

Assumed items:
+1 to Divine Favor
+1 to Healing Prayers
+2 to Smiting Prayers

Attributes: (cost)
Divine Favor: 8+1 (37)
Healing Prayers: 0+1 (0)
Smiting Prayers: 9+2 (48)
Swordsmanship: 11 (77)
Tactics: 8 (37)

Total attribute points used: 199/200

Skills:
1) Riposte (availability) - (4a,0,0) For 8 seconds, while you have a sword equipped, you block the next attack against you, and your attacker takes 22 damage.
2) Deadly Riposte (availability) - (5,0,10) For 8 seconds, while you have a sword equipped, you block the next attack against you, and your attacker takes 16 damage and begins bleeding for 15 seconds.
3) Hamstring (availability) - (10,0,15) If this attack hits, your target is crippled for 12 seconds, slowing his movement.
4) Gladiator's Defense (availability) (elite) - (10,0,30) For 8 seconds, you have a 75% chance to block incoming attacks. Whenever you block a melee attack this way, the attacker suffers 21 damage. This is an elite skill.
5) "Watch Yourself!" (availability) - (4a,0,0) Party members near you gain +20 armor for 8 seconds.
6) Bonetti's Defense (availability) - (8a,0,0) For 8 seconds, you have a 75% chance to block incoming melee attacks and arrows. You gain 5 energy for each successful melee attack blocked. Bonetti's Defense ends if you use a skill.
7) Judge's Insight (availability) - (10,2,10) For 17 seconds, target ally's attacks deal holy damage and have +20% armor penetration.
8) Banish (availability) - (5,1,10) Target foe takes 47 holy damage.

This guy would have a lot of fun vs melee. But not do terribly well vs casters or anybody fleeing..too situational... Hamstring costing 10 mana is a bit too much maybe. But the only way as the sword opens for dual riposte which is part of the weak armour defense vs melee.

Anybody knows if Gladiator's defense dodges missiles and spells?

If anybody could make a cool Mo/W hammer build, that would be something!?

This might be a decent arena build, but doesn't have any place on a competitive team.

First off, this guy does not have 'pretty good DPS'. He's stuck with normal attacks and the occasional Galrath Slash, putting him at a paltry 20 DPS - 25 or so if you give him credit for the bleeding. A good offensive Warrior should be kicking out around 50 DPS unhindered.

The other question you have to ask is 'why would anyone attack this guy over healing Monks / Mesmers / Elementalists?' Simply put, just being able to keep yourself alive doesn't count for a whole lot when your opponents have 7 other targets to choose from - if you aren't a threat, you're ignored until you're the only guy left. At that point, a bit of self-healing isn't going to matter because a good team is going to throw 200 DPS at your face, and nothing stands up to that.

So the build isn't bad at what it does, perse, it's just that what it does isn't exactly valuable. It has a place as a PvE tank, where it can soak up damage while the rest of your team does the killing, but anywhere that you can't abuse AI it just isn't going to be that useful.

Peace,
