Today, I've just witnessed something really sad. Some idiot, just tried to scam us and make us take part in one of his little games. Threatning us if we didn't. He joined our guild by asking and promising a merge with a high ranked guild, it started out really nicely, he looked fine. Our guild leader, hearing of this merge, made him an officer for being the contact. While waiting to GvG with another Guild, this happened:



As you can see, this is a rather disturbing chat which ended in a very stupid manner, I've highlighted the part that would make me report him, heck, what he said before that should be reason enough. Anyway, he still tries to convince me of playing along, even when he is already kicked out.

Reported, probably and hopefully banned.

This isn't right. This guy's name should be spread with stigma throughout the game, if he isn't banned.

That sucks goat stuffing.

There should be a buffer on how long you can go from one guild to another, like a day or something. Stops the faction guilds like the high ranked Korean ones abusing the ladder by ranking themselves high, setting up another guild and then pushing that through. I know it's not just the Koreans that do it. But it'll stop all that nonesense that was going on there.

But what? Making some random officer within 5 minutes of joining? ARE YOU MAD?

You have my sympathy of course, scamming is wrong and that guy is out of his tree. But come on.. don't fall for that.

Aside from the fact that he said he can enter a guild battle right now, only if the leader or officer agrees to it.

And if you read the first post, he was made an officer.

Grats on OPs guild for kicking the person out, before he was able to cause harm. And others, don't make just anyone into officer.

Yes that's right. Another one of his names is Anton Vercetti, a Ranger. But I've already send the uncensored version of that chat to ANet. So its fine, he should, technically be banned in a few days.

And as an answer to a post stating that 'we are mad' for making him officer within 5 minutes; like I've said in the original post, the guy proposed a merge and because of him being our contact and bringing the possibility of merging to our eyes, we made him an officer. I think, that's the least I can do for such an amazing offer.

I was an officer within 5 mins of joining but thats because i Tombed with the leaer and was better than him

Yeah that's all well and fine, you played with the guild. And obv to make someone an officer is your own choosing, it's up to you. I'd've just given him gold rather than power tbh..
