But, this is so true :P As a monk I've learned how to deal with Warrior and melee characters, and mesmers (backfire? Yeah okay sure buddy I just wont cast anything major for the next ten seconds) but you Necros...

About the mesmers thing... no matter what you cast whether it be a 5 energy spell or a 15 energy spell you're still going to take the same dmg. Using ANY spell will yield the same result...

where can you craft the 15k necrotic? and what are the materials required? I think i'm missing a couple of towns (well more than a couple) as I've not seen the crafter for this yet.

I use a mix of armor at the moment. I use the 1.5plat armor from droknars dyes all silver I found that a combo of Necrotic and tormentors looks awesome and it add's a little originality to myself. since i dont look like all the other necros out there.

Necrotic have no rare crafting material need tho - very cheap compared to other 15K armors.

Second they have spells to drain your energy, therfore goodluck casting ever, the wars, rangers, eles, necros, and possible smiting monks, will just hit you while you cannot cast (because you now have 0 energy from all the mesmers spells) and the mesmer can cast something like conjure phantasm to do extra damage. Since you have no energy to heal yourself you are dead buddy. Other monks try and help you...backfire..drain energy..they are in same position, I have won HOH with all Mesmer, three Monk team. We faced everything and monks (on other teams) were worthless cause they had no energy.
4: I can say all this because i have been playing since october 2004, first beta testing ever, back when they said the game would be released in summer 2004. I have played every class as primary and secondary proffesion and know all there strengths and weaknesses and how to go around them.
P.S. Dun even try to use smite or remove hex spells, you get backfired, and if not, they take too long to regen, and the ones that dun remove only 1 hex at a time, cast that 7-8 times (cause thats how many hexes you got on you or your ally, assumming you haev the energy to do so) with backfire on you, and kiss your ass goodbye.
