no sound on laptop

when running GW on my Dell Latitude I get no sound. Every other program and game has sound, but nothing I do will get it to come up with GW. Ideas?

Come on, someone must have an idea about this. I get sound from other programs on my laptop as well as games like Ground Control and Battlefield 2, but GW loads with no sound (yes it's turned up). Has no one else experienced this problem?
