New UPDATED armor?

If I ALREADY have the armor, do they change that image on my character, or do I gotta go buy it all new? lol

Anyway, the notes said this:

I see no reason why it wouldn't change with the update. If you want screens, go to the Screenshot forum.

Whenever you see the word ascended used when refering to a set of armor, they are refering to the 15K variety.

And thus far people claim that those who already have the armor do indeed get updated as well.

It does indeed get updated when you log in. I don't think it updated on the character select screen (I can't recall), but when you actually load that character into the game it will take a bit to update before you see yourself (I was just a shadow for a few seconds.)
