I just did it without knowing who was in favour. Did not even think about that.

You talk to Dwayna's (Avatar?) or something there. She is in front of Dwayna's statue, only if we have favor and someone has kneeled there. So if the statue is all big and glowy, look for a person who's all big a glowy, and thats who you get the quest from.

It's not a very rewarding quest...500 xp and no skills awarded, so no loss if you don't do it.

It IS a nice little bit of storytelling though, and not at all difficult if you can handle the challenges of Old Ascalon.
