Let's say I am a monk and I have 400 HPs. I have Protection maxed.
I cast Protective Bond, so I can't take more than 20 damage at one time.
After that I cast Shielding Hands, so received damage would be reduced by 15.
OK, now I cast both of them. What happens if a 60 points damage is coming into my face?
1. I'll take (60-40)-15=5?
OR
2. I'll take (60-15)-25=20?
In other words: which applies first: PB or SH?
Thanks:

How does skill based damage reduction stack?

This is something that I have been wondering about as well. Intuitively I would expect that it would be replaced in timestamp order, which seems reasonable to me as in my experience these effects seem to have fairly random results. I especially wonder about effects which prevent a fraction of damage, like aura of the lich, combined with effects which prevent a fixed amount, like shielding hands. Is there an order of "not more than", %, and fixed reduction, is it done by timestamp, or is there a specific order of skills?

OK, I think this problem is rather an interesting one so I guess the lack of answers is due to the fact that the topic got buried in 30 seconds under the mass of very thoughtful and original topics like "What is the best upgrade for my ubah weapon? - Episode 28", "15K Armor Returns /for the 100th times/" and "How to farm runes at level 0?"
So, instead of a "stealthy bumb", I go further:
What if I have an armor with an Absorption rune in it and PB and SH cast on me. Which one of these applies first (second, third...)?
Sorry for being agressive in my post but people should really learn the usefulness of the SEARCH button... (and yes, I searched for 'damage reduction' but I could not find anything worth...)

Good questions. Some testing is in order.

I have tested this and they do not stack. But if you use healing hand that does.
