Ive been gone for a few days and when i came back i went to log on and it said my Acct. was blocked =( anyone know what the heck is going on?

That's pretty strange, did you get a message saying your account was blocked, or did you just can't log in? And did you download or do anything strange lately that could've caused ANet to block your account?

I suggest you contact Anet about it then, and find out who knows your e-mail address and who might be able to figure out you password (assuming of course that you didnt give it out to anyone)

And if/when you change your password ,make it complex. ie no real words, combo of letters and numbers ect.

Some people can abuse the chat filter by spacing out words etc. Also extensive abuse, even when filtered out. Can be offensive to some. Every time i want to swear at a noob at the tombs i think happy thoughs

actually it is hard to just use spaces to get past the chat filter, I was playing with it one day, and you have to put a few spaces between each letter for it to work, or at least you used to, havent done it in a while so they may have changed it now that I think about it.. I know you had to use almost an entire chat line to get one bad word out.

Since it's probably the first time you've done something to get this it says it'll only last a bit then go away.
Sadly I don't believe it's a mistake and probably IS something that you did.
It would take them days if not weeks to get to you if someone had reported you for something.

I would at least contact them to find out what you did (and whether someone reported you or if it is something they caught you doing) most likely it is someone reported, however I can almost guarantee that they will not tell you who did the reporting (most games dont, or it can cause BIG problems).
I have only submitted something to Anet once, and when I submitted it, it said I should hear back from them within 24 hours, but it took almost 3 days to get a response, so dont be surprised if you dont get a quick response. By then you will probably be back in game, but if it were me, I would want to know what the ban was for!!
