All this complaining is making me tired. If this was any other online game company, you'd still be waiting for your first patch and you wouldn't even be able to play PvP. Those server lag slideshows are so fun...

GW is a great game both PvE and PvP for what it is. It isn't WoW, EQ, Countersrike, DiabloII, or Battlefield 2. It's Guild Wars - IMHO the best game on the market right now. Stop trying to turn it into something it's not.

You want PvP that has zero grind? Go play a FPS. You want to grind for 23 hours per day? Go play the plethora of MMORPGs. Want something new and fresh? Then stop posting crap on these boards, and for heaven's sake - give ANET a break. They are doing a fantastic job of trying to please everyone - something that is impossible to do.

If you don't like it, then do us all a favor and leave. The rest of us are trying to enjoy this wonderful game

I doubt Anet really cares about all the complaining going on in these boards.

And if they do, it's for a reason - as hard as it is to trudge through, complaining can often times bring to light issues in an otherwise perfect game.

Unless you're instantly assuming that every whiner is immediately wrong and holds no water in whatever point they may be trying to argue.

In which case, I'm glad you're not running the game. [/figuratively speaking]

Actually I'm pretty sure they do.

Even if their patches aren't doing it well enough...they've made what, the last month pretty much solely focused on pvp less grind updates. I thought I remember alex weekes saying something to the extent of 'in a way, the fact that so many pvpers are complaining about this and haven't left shows us that the underlying pvp is really good.'

I don't mind people who complain as long as they have valid reasons and suggest solutions. If you don't want to see it, you don't have to read it. The only big problem imo is the sheer amount of idiots who inhabit those threads and clutter them up with useless rubbish.

If you don't like people complaining, ignore them, and don't post topics like this. It only fuels the fire and provides another base for idiocy to clutter up.

In my in-your-face opinion :P I think there is a community here that would like to see some changes to GW that are not in line with the original intent of the game. That's fine.

I just wish they'd stop punching the gift horse in the mouth. Name one company who tries 1/10th as hard as ANET to make everyone happy.

I thought this week's patch was a well thought out compromise that was implemented at an impressive pace.

And indeed this is all getting tiring, I can finally play again so it seems, very thankful for this. I have long since missed my baby (Guild Wars), it has been long and boring without it, at times.

I have to wonder, if there is so complaining, only because we, as in the community, have nothing better to do. Kind of sad, I sure know I don't have much to do other than cruise the boards some days in boredom.

Anyway, back to fending off this headache I have, (IRL of course), later.

The only thing worse than complaining about a legitemate concern is complaining about complaining about a legitemate concern, which only provokes flame fests, etc. Every single person who refers to someone voicing his concerns as a "whiner" is only pissing that guy off, and is the root of all flame fests. You have yourselves to thank, as whenever someone tries to discuss the topic in a normal manner, some dumbass comes in screaming "bitchy moany whiners! stfu omgzorz!!1one" and turns the entire effort to resolve the dispute upside down.

I have to agree with Weezer_Blue. By making our complaints and exploring possible alternatives and suggesting compromises we have got this far. Ignorance is bliss and if you don't have a problem with something that's blissful for you. But we do so we talk about it. There is a huge body of trolls that complain about the complaining and flame us making it hard to keep things constructive. There are as many threads like this, that serve little purpose in comparison to the complaint threads that deal with real issues that has caused a massive bunch of people to leave the game and play less. Try and understand these words and sentences we post instead of only seeing black and white, labelling them as whining and then proceeding to whine about it. Read and understand. Please.

Well stated and thank you. I have enjoyed this game immensely and can't understand why people can't just enjoy it. If it's tedious and boring and whatever, move on. There are literally hundreds of new games out there that someone can go play!

I think back to the Blizzard/Diablo days. Those guys would go MONTHS and, in some cases, YEARS without updates and, for all intents and purposes, ignored the community and their 'suggestions'. NO company is required to do so and I think that it's wonderful that AN tries to implement things that the community wants.

I think that suggesting things to AN about what they should do is akin to telling Santa Claus how to deliver presents....OK probably a bad analogy but you get what I mean. I plan to enjoy the game and be happy that AN is behind it, supporting it and making it more enjoyable for me as a player.
