New GW Video!!!

It's a nice little video, if not a little short (the first third is the NCSoft and ANet logos). The new environment is a great addition IMO. What concerned me slightly was how all the monsters were just variations on previous models you see earlier in the game, but I'm sure that's nothing to worry about.

Enjoyed it, very cool. Too short though.

Wow, some amazing environments. Those GW artists are earning their salaries, that's pretty cool stuff. Can't wait to maybe get there this weekend

I'm guessing this is where you go on that ship after finishing Sanctum Cay. For those of us who have done so and gotten dumped at the Tombs, I wonder, will we have a new map point when we login Friday, or will we have to redo SC to get the next real mission/town/whatever? (Not that I'd mind, SC is actually one of the fun missions...)

Not bad at all. I cannot wait till this weekend. Im thinking of taking Friday off work for the last BWE.

I agree, a little short. But worth it. The new area is very cool looking, I love the demonic faces in the stone!

i am in the process of downloading the movie, but i think that this new mission may have something to do with that dragon valley around the tombs that some people accessed before.

Dragons Lair around tombs? I was wondering whether that will be open and whether that links to the islands instead of the sanctum cay mission linking to the islands. Anyone know?

Sheesh! For all the hours I spent help making these, I think you can see one of my characters for approximately one third of a second. At this point, this is becoming something of a running joke. Though, i'd prefer to think of it in a positive light.. they're just teasing glimpses before going ahead with a full on reveal of that which is my greatness. What else could it be? *coughs*

Anyway.. as for where this takes place chronologically.. I don't think I can answer that. They say themselves it will be available, but the thing is, it's like this, and like that, and also a little bit of something else .. so there's no way I can answer that without revealing things I shouldn't. Wasn't that a helpful answer? Move along. These aren't the droids you're looking for.

For those of you who participated in the first BWE - do your characters carry over? just for this BWE I mean, I know they dont for release..

I'm fairly sure they'll still be there until the end of this BWE.

Darn. I dislike the NDA more and more everyday. Blah i wish i knew an Alpha in person around here. Alphas are sick a lot... They keep on *coughing*.

Hmm i heard that we go from sanctum cay to the desert then to ice mission and then to volcanic islands. Makes sense, but there must be something after the volcano islands b/c A.net wouln't release the game ending before it came out.

Normally I would be cranky about them releasing more info from the full game and thereby reducing the amount of new stuff upon release, but the fact is that we are so close to release that it doesn't matter in the end. I bet we are somewhere around 30-40% unreleased game now.
