Paying Gold For Missions

1-how are you going to handle the run? Are you going to trust someone with your account (that must have at least 20 plat to handle all missions).
2-why don't you do it yourself?

I'm not being sarcastic, I'm actually curious why you wish to start the game at Droknar's Forge...

(you could also do the missions to Beacon Perch and pay somebody 5 plat or so to run you through Lornar's Pass)

n00b warning, dont read if you have a clue:

1 mission = 1 skillpoint.
You can run missions (1 powerfull level 20 does all the work while the leeches are afk - same as droknar run)

I suppose if you're willing to do this, that's fine. But...WHY? Play the game, for crying out loud.

You could create a level 20 character right off the bat, you know.

It's rather simple. You beat the game once, now you need to do it with another character to unlock the skills..... Trust me the second time [or third] you do those missions it does become annoying enough to prefer to pay someone to "carry" you through them.

The game is linear enough that i am expecting a THRIVING "mercenary-power-level-me" industry appearing. Lornars' Pass run is just the beginning. PvErs [the sort that enjoyes farming/grinding etc] will most probably use this mechanism to farm and make profit out of it by carrying PvPers through the game [because all the PvPers want is to unlock their skills and get skillpoints].

Next: x Gold for being taken on a "attrib-restore" trip or a "skill-point farm" trip ....

you really shouldnt pay people to do missions for you, doing missions... builds character you could say...

Actually, Silver, I've played through the game more than once. I understand the tediousness but *shrugs* that's just what it is. With the new faction points thing in place, people can unlock skills without having to be rushed.

For me, I wish that AN would put level restrictions on party formation. If a potential party member isn't within 5 levels of the rest, too bad.

Also, why PAY people to run you through missions? There are plenty of people who would gladly do it for free.

I understand now, and thank you for the explanation.... but I don't think being unaware of the advantages to piggybacking makes me qualify as a noob

Your forgetting a key point, In order to buy skills with Faction points you have to have a toon with access to the major outpost. The O.P. Never said he had a toon with access to these places, it could be that he wants to PvP without the anoyance of PvE.

I Myself was thinking of paying for a service such as this so I can get on with the portion of the game I enjoy.

Better yet A.net could just put the venders in the arenas.

Probably a decent solution.
