people dont understand what skill, the first word in the description is what it is if it doesnt say skill its not a skill i.e
final thrust=sword attack
troll ungent=skill

Anything you put on your skill bar is considered a "skill" and so using any of them will cancel out a certain stance which ends when you use a skill.

Another way to look at it is, All (spells, hexes, enchantments, weapon skills, etc) are Skills, but not all Skills are (spells, hexes, enchantments, weapon skills, etc).
