Sound issues

Hi all!

I am having a wierd problem with my sound. Everything works fine for a while then suddenly all sound in Guildwars stops, the game still plays fine apart from this.

The time until this happens seems somewhat random and the only way to get GW to have any sound again is to reboot the PC!

However, sound works perfectly in all other games - even after the sound has failed in GW I can load Everquest/SWAT etc etc and the sound is fine...

I have an nforce 2 mobo with the latest audio drivers.

any ideas?

ok thought I would post an update. I disabled environmental effects and no longer got the sound cutting out! seems to have sorted it.
