As I'm well and truly stuck, I'd seriously consider it if someone offered to run it for 1.5K, but I've not heard anyone advertising their services at Elona.

Half of passing Elona Reach is direction, when you get a cystal both times more mobs will come, however if you go certain ways, and in a certain order it will become much easier.

Yeah- for each crystal, there's a couple of different ways to get there. Some are much easier than others.

Skills that make you faster are pretty good here- you can outrun the oncoming mobs instead of fighting them.

I felt pity for all the people needing a monk in Elona earlier. I got my monk out and barely 30 seconds into the mission, the warrior decides to run all the way to the hero without giving a damn about anything.
He attracted every minotaur in the area and even more as he ran accross the bridge.
Everyone died except him.
What did he do? He ran back to collect a sword that dropped for him.

What did i do? I left the CHILDREN to find another monk to help them.

Honestly, the way some people behave ingame suggests they either aggro deliberately or have serious issues that must be resolved.

I'm sticking to UW because people are better there.

Except no one ever follows the calls or takes the suggested route.
I think your recruiting skills need work in that case. Good co-operative players are really not hard to find, just spend a bit more time sussing them out before starting the mission. I've rarely had a bad team, though it has happened on occasion that one or two people would for some reason run about ruining it, but it is very rare. Usually the people I find are great and do their best to help each other, they follow the chosen leader and the mission gets done without any problems. Try just spending a bit of time talking to your group before starting, it's usually the impatient people who leave if you give people time to get ready and don't just start straight away that are the ones who will ruin the mission for you.

henchies is the key to elona...i canĀ“t handle players in this mission - we fail every single time.
