How do we get back to town before explosion

How does one get back to the original start town after the explosion? As well how does one join an actual guild?

I'm not so sure about your first question, But I'd think getting into a Guild would be by invitation.

the academy is a one way trip

i keep 1 character slot in presear for vacations

Actually, after the Charr unleash their "explosion" on Ascalon, it dumps you right back into town, so getting back to town is automatic.

How do you make the town go back to the way it was before? You don't.

"No, you can't go back to Constantinople..."
