I've grown tired of my others characters so I decided to make a pure protection Monk. The main idea being that if you can simply make damage dealt to your team 'vanish' you'll be in a much better situation to survive. The obvious flaw is the sheer amount of enchants, its a precarious balance. =/ Also, is there any way of preventing this build from bombing from one enchantment removal?
Reversal of Fortune - Spam heal.
Healing Touch - Self heal due to touch range.
Word of Healing {Elite} - Counter to spike damage.
Guardian - Chaff enchant and extra protection.
Life Bond - Main enchant, will run on all teammates.
Balthazar's Spirit - For energy mangement.
Divine Boon - Extra effieciency on heals (not sure how usefull this is)
Blessed Signet - To help maintain enchants.
Energy mangement is an issue, however you I think this build could be maintained even in an 8 person group due to the energy intake from Balthazar's Spirit and Blessed Signet. Maintaining 8 people would cost me -9 pips of energy regen (7 for life bond, 1 for Balthazar's Spirit, 1 for Divine Boon), leaving me with -5. Assuming that at least 2 people are damaged each second (a low estimate), that will put me posititve on the energy gain (if just barely). Then that leaves me with at least 20 energy every 12 sec from blessed signet for RoF and Guardian, once combat begins.
I think this build will really shine when protecting a group from any number of fast occuring low damage sources (flurry sword warriors anyone?). Since the best part of life bond is the fact that any damage from a single source of less that 50 points is immediatly reduced to only 25 (or less) actual damage ocurring to the team as a whole. Which is easily managable with RoF spam.
I'm having a tough time rounding out this build as I keep feeling I should put in some condition/hex removal... however this build is already tight for energy/space so I don't know what to do.
I'm still new with the monk skill set, so if there is anything I missed feel free to point it out along with any suggestions and comments you may have. =]

I wouldn't use Guardian at all. In my opinion, it doesn't last long enough to be worth it. I'd try Vigorous Spirit instead.
Do you really need 3 heals with this build? Your other party members won't be taking very much damage at all, so you may want to take out Word of Healing for another elite, since Reversal of Fortune works just as well for countering spike damage.
Also, I really wouldn't use Divine Boon in a Life Bond/Balthazar's Spirit build. You'll destroy your energy reserves. I'd try using something like Offering of Blood, Signet of Devotion, Remove Hex, Mend Ailment, or Resurrect instead.
If your secondary is Mesmer or Necromancer, try putting in an energy management skill in there. I like Offering of Blood.

Guardian is amazing. Push protection high and its quite useful, if only as a cover enchantment, but mainly as almost 50% dodge against anything. Running life bond and balthazars is something i thought would be amazing, and when i came against a team of warriors it was. Eles on the other hand didnt do the buisness. Whatsmore, thats too many people. Perhaps getting two and having half the team each (except yourself) would make you break even on energy, which is more like it. Unless you get lucky, you wont really be spamming much, so protective spirit might be a good one, but not in the place of rof. Put it in the place of word, thats not the best spike counter. On a prot build boon is only really necessary if your team has only one healer 2 prot, so id drop that. Also, the - pip is dam annoying when you dont have any anyways. Vig Spirit is alright, but guardian is much better. Offering of Blood is alright, approx (max) of under 3 pips extra. Your spamming a lot of 5 energies, so channeling would be good, and being a monk theyll be no shortage of foes to steal from. Blessed signet will be still good.
