STYLE

I have played the E/? spamming, farming god and found it lacking in style at least for me. I want to be a Warrior or a Ranger. I want to have a beast.

For me it is not about pwnge it is about style...

are there any other kindred spirits?

Is "style" beeing a warrior - ranger and/or having a beast?

Interesting idea/question. When you start a game that lets you choose a character, you're also choosing a style of play. In D2, my favorite style of play is Barbarian two-handed. In Neverwinter Knights, I always play a ranger for two-handed perks and because I like the pets. Guild Wars is the first game I've played that is so balanced, I have trouble settling on a favorite style.

Ranger has awesome style. As far as looks go the Druid's Vest is an awesome looking trench coat that screams I've got a bigass weapon under here. As far as attacking goes I love setting a bunch of traps, drawing some dumbass (in PvP) through them and watching them burn and bleed to death.

Me i started game off when i bought with a ranger i loved the style of play, when i got traps, i loved em more, then i started an ele and i loved the damage output, now im getting into healers, its a challenge to stay alive when you have a whole team beating on you in pvp, never cared much for warriors, hack and slash not my thing really.

You ever have to clean up after a Moa bird?

My favorite character is almost pure necromancer, but just happens to LOOK like a mesmer in a long coat. Yeah, I'd say I'm concerned with style. ^_^

Style isn't about what you play it's about how you play it. I've got a melee/beast master R/W, a water/curses utility caster E/N and a smiting Monk. I think all of them are great, but I don't think you'll find any of them in a builds textbook. Unless they have a chapter specifically for the mentally disturbed that is.

I do agree with Zuggy though, Druid's has got style. Especially with a hammer.

Female W/Xs have a lot of style. When they die you can spend that infinity+1 second wondering if she is really wearing underwear or not.

Yes, i've been without a girlfriend for 6 months now and the manniquens in the malls dont quite cut it.

On a more serious note, Mesmers scream style. It's all about subtlty for a Mesmer, as it does for a Necro. Both classy classes. Rangers are right up there too, but do do something about that outfit which looks like something someone in a Gulag camp might wear.
