Wreckages and chests should turn grey once opened

It's all in the topic.

This has probably been suggested already but since it hasn't been fixed in a patch I thought I would suggest it here.

It can be pretty annoying sometimes when you are searching wreckages for a specific quest item and you have no idea which you have opened and not.

Small but important fix.

agreed. Even the name could be greyed out.

Actually, that is what I meant... sorry, should have been more clear on that.

It may be just a small change, but it is helpful in the long run.

Alternately, you could just have the name reflect the state (e.g. "Closed Chest" vs. "Open Chest").

I asked for this in beta last year, guess it must not be that easy to add or not important

/sign I sometimes run half-way across my compass to find an open chest. My party gets pinged off when a monk goes running off
