ive heard a lot of ppl talkin about this and i want in on some of the action. how would i farm?

Use the search dude. Theres tons of threads on farming here. Farming is when you solo things for loot and exp. Find the best place in the game you can solo and farm away.

pretty simple.

pick a monster/area that you can "own"

and repeatedly kill them.
