Why is Henge of Denravi a major town?

I mean, it has like one quest, which when you complete it teleports you away. You never go back there. Every other major town, like Ascalon and L.A., has like 10 quests in and around it, but Denravi doesnt. Heck, it doesnt even have an arena. What up with this town?

It's in the right spot. At least, that's my guess: The designers wanted major towns "every so often", and that's where that one hit.

Storywise. Henge of Denravi is supposed to be the place the Shining Blade are gathering in to take revenge on the White Mantle. So it's not going to be like Ascalon or Lion's Arch. When you first get to the Henge, that's supposed to be when it was founded (since it was a druid place before that). Congratulations, you just discovered a city.

They could at least have a couple of quests where you go out and "take revenge on the white mantle", like sabataging a bridge or ambushing a convoy: you know, wage the Shining Blade's guerilla war. But no...

But no... Yeah, I agree, it really is sort of a dull place. Seems more like an outpost than a city. But maybe they will add stuff in the future. They have been slowly adding new quests from here to there. Maybe, as the city "grows" we will get more stuff to do there. Keep your fingers crossed.

Denravi used to have an arena, but it was removed in one of the first updates, when they consolodated all of the random arenas into one single arena that rotates between all of the "maps" that were used for the removed arenas. Amnoon Oasis is the same way. You should be able to tell which map originally came from which location. The one with the city walls is the "original" random 4v4 map.

Amnoon Oasis only has 2 quests: one pointing to a material crafter and one pointing to Augury Rock (where you get info on 3 missions you need to complete). Droknar's Forge has only 3 quests. Beyond here, there's only 1 quest you can get before the last mission.

The end game quest content is severely lacking, pre sear - heaps, then ascalon city - heaps, then it gets less and less and less like they ran out of time or something too add more quests.

The number of quests as the game progresses definately scales way down. As already stated, there are lots of quests in pre-ascolon, post-ascalon, northern shiverpeaks, and kryta. There are a decent number in meguuma, but noticably less. When you get to Denravi, it seems like you get rushed away.

Amnoon only has two quests, but the desert as a whole isnt that bad: you spend alot of time around augury, 2 quests, and its the departure point for getting to 3 towns and 3 missions. You definately stick around for a while.

In Draknors, there is like 3 total quests. Not so great, but whats worse is that there are like 5 towns in the southern shiverpeaks, which dont have any quests at all! Camp Rancor, Granite Citadel, Port Sledge, Copperhead Mines, and Marhans Grotto. No quests.

And its not like there is a lack of places to put quests: there are plenty of places which are completely pointless right now except to capture skills. Example: Mineral Springs, Snake Dance, that place in the extreme southwest of meguuma, etc.

Overall the games quest content is good, but I think more quests in the late game would be better.
