The mission:Gates of Kryta.

So I find a somewhat unpopulated route I've never taken, and decide to see what's up.

Glad I pressed the 'Oh Sh!t' button fast enough.

the problem is that they never attack the pig (at least for me)

They never do attack the pig, he's just for the bonus. I never understood that way. I did it instead of the normal way with a group, and it took much longer than going the other way. I guess it's just if you want lots of exp.

Piggy tank? Mind you, thats exploiting.

But you can just go there, Healing/Smiting and some points in Protection.

Symbol of Wrath
Balthazars Spirit
Shielding Hands
Healing Breeze

Immediately at the start of the mission throw on Balthazars Spirit (this will make sure you never run out of energy later on). And just go to that place, kill the first hell hound and that huge, insane mob will come right after. After that it is a piece of cake.
Just alternate between Symbol of Wrath and Balthazars Aura, throw on a shielding hands and a healing breeze now and then and never let your hitpoints drop below 200, due to death novas inbound.

yeah thats the "no fight solo drake run path" until they made em stronger again that is, if you are good at running and dodging you can go straight to the beach with no fighting on the way, if you kill the first ghouls and hellhounds though, entire army pops up
