We've got scrolls for Exp
what about a scroll that increases the droprate of rare items for the next 5-10 monsters or something.
Scroll, droprate
Gerbill
Warskull
Personally I think if you currently have favor droprate should double. Encourage people to attempt to get favor more and make it useful to people not doing ToA.
Thanas
Do you mean an item analogous to Diablo 2's increase magic find? But magic find for a set period of time....
Hmmm I don't think it would work for Guild Wars. XP scrolls make sense since they allow you to gain more XP which after LVL20 translates to skill points. And as most GW players know points mean prizes...erm... sry skills. Guild Wars is essentially a skill based game so gaining more skills thorugh XP is great. However unlike diablo 2 for example the game is not very item orientated. Items in the game give you very little advantage over other players since this would unbalance the game and the in turn render the skill based system obsolete. IMHO items are more for ego. That is to say you can show them off to others. Granted items can translate to money. However these scrolls you suggest would increase the aquisition of money through trading. And I feel that the challenge in making money would be removed, thus reducing the quality of the game and finally what makes the rare items rare is the fact that they aren't dropped very often. As soon as you introduce these scrolls you increase the number of rares in the economy and before you know it everyone has got extremely rare items, sry common items. So in conclusion I must say no to this proposal.
