Ugh... not even an elite. I hate to sound uneager, but most pvp fire eles are overshadowed by other eles -you're better off using the default pyromancer build.

...Yep, but if you've just started gw keep in mind you can redistribute attribute points any time you want. I suggest just collecting as many skills you can and testing out which branch of element you like the most.

As for pvp elementalists, I think that hydromancers are underrated. Use one and you won't be disappointed.

perhaps using fire skills which set enemies on fire causing alot of degen would be good, but people mostly make fire elementalists for PvE

Try echo or arcane echo with immolate and using that on an enemy hexed with fragility. Lots of fun.

Or mark of Rodgart, as then all you need is flare instead of arcane echo and immolate.

Yeah that works better, but you'll have to time your flares so they dont make the burns continuous.
