Well depending on if you are getting attacked a lot or not, you could switch troll unguent out for healing spring, as healingspring heals more, and in an area.

Poison Arrow is a waste of an Elite under the circumstaces. Use one that's linked to Marksmanship or Expertise. Marksman's Wager comes to mind, since you're spamming so many attack skills. Possibly Punishing Shot or Barrage.
You might consider dropping your 5 wilderness all together and shifting that over to Beast Mastery so you could use Tiger's Fury for 7 our of every 10 seconds.

So what is this build for? PvE? Random arena? Tombs/GvG?
Now you decide on a role. Do you want caster shutdown? Do you want straight DPS? Do you want to annoy warriors/other rangers?
In any of those cases I have to recommend a) switching out some of your attribute points/using a superior rune or two to get Tiger's Fury and a semi-respectable Beastmastery attribute while maintaining a Marks of at least 12 and an Expertise of at least 13 (for 5 energy skills) or 14 (for spamming 10 energy skills).
Caster shutdown: Get more anti-caster abilities in there, your Mes secondary could and should be put to good use here.
DPS: Get some superior runes, possibly switch secondaries, pump additional attributes for the damage buff(s) of your choice.
Anti-warrior/ranger: There are lots of ways to do that through either your primary or secondary class - inflicting conditions/certain hexes works.
Now adjust the above with some defensive abilities in PvE or random arena, or maximize your offense in Tombs/GvG as you won't be a priority target and you'll have monks to rely on.

Ummm...what? He's at 14 Marks and 14 Expertise with 5 Wilderness Survival. You're suggesting that he use a couple of superior runes (which is probably is to have 2 stats at 14) to LOWER his Marksmanship and let that 5 Wilderness just sit there making 2 skills (one of which is elite) underwhelming.
I still think you're better off dropping Wilderness for Beast Mastery and carrying Tiger's Fury (put it in Troll Ungent's slot) and a Marksmanship or Expertise based Elite.

With all those attribute points freed up from lowering Marks to 12 and using a superior rune or two, he can ditch that elite and actually get some focus on some role, like I explained above. Just dropping wilderness for beast mastery won't help his build much.
edit: removed unnecessary crap
edit 2: You'll (most likely) want 3 high attributes (Expertise/Marks/something) and one lower one (Beast Mastery). If you don't need that something attribute to be really high you can then pump Marks to increase your damage. If you go with 4 high attributes that requires some real skimping and corner cutting, so it's not recommended.

Ranger\Mesmers probably have the best lockdown/destroy mana abilities, very good against Elementalists/Monks/Necromancers.

He was referring to his complete lack of mesmer abilities in the build with that question.
Neo-LD
he was refering to the fact that he could be a r/** and have the exact same build.

Premade builds come to mind... You might want to compare your damage with that of a ranger that uses spikes with buffs, because you aren't doing as much. Your build seems to have an assortment of spike skills, defense skills, and one degen skill. Even a ranger using conjure flame and kindle arrows without any attack skills will out damage you.

Hmm... I really thought my Ranger was pretty good.. guess not I see so many advices and tips now so I don't really know what to do.. Can someone tell me the skills and the attributes I should use and how many points I should put in the attributes?
Btw: thanks for all your reply's

Something like 12 marks, 14 expertise, 10 fire magic (ele secondary). Use conjure element, then favorable winds, then read the wind. When you attack a target, hit either serpents quickness or tiger's fury, and spam quick shot.

Btw: thanks for all your reply's Dont worry, you rbuild is "good", but all of us have different ideas on how to make it better. Some of us want to take it in opposite directions, so you cant listen to all of us. As it stands right now, the only MAJOR problem I see with it is too much self defense (whirling, dirt, unguent) Other than that it apears to want to pump some dot with poison+bleed, add some direct damage with penetrating, and take along the "required" skills of res sig and distracting shot. Looks good in arena, probably not so good in tombs.
