desert armor collectors vs droknars armor

correct me if im wrong but isnt the collectors armor just as good as droknars armor?

Yes it is.

Droknar's/Marhan's armour are purely "status" items.

He means the armor you find in the desert from collectors. Marhan's armor and GRANITE's are status items, along with fissure. Desert collectors armor is just an early way of getting maxed out armor.

Not to mention "free". Yeah, you have to get the collectors items, but that should happen in the course of doing the desert missions.

Droknars is plain armor with max AR. You mean Citadel's/Marhan's.

from the looks of it i don't think i'll be getting "status" armor anytime soon. My droknars armor for my necro tormentors armor, with missing steel ingots and stuff costs me about like almost 16 plat all runed (1 sup, 3 minor) up and painted yellow (look like a power ranger! LOL). now all i have is 300 gps left! holy crap i really don't know how in the world do you guys make that much money!?!? i guess i'm not too crazy on farming. just playing the game as it is. You guys who wear the expensive stuff are truely the pimps of GW. Yeah and they should keep it that way cause hey you deserve it, thats alot of work!
