Where to get lots of bleach shells?
BBoy_Manchild
i got my bleached shells east of destiny gorge, there are a couple out there, and you can enjoy killing those poor griffons and devourers while you are out there
Hendorr
The spot he sais is really close, you need to go a lil'bit more to the east. There are 7 Sand wurms there. You can farm BS there.

I have a ton of Bleached Shells and sell them for 1K each.

Hey guys, the run is easily done alone. The key is to survive while dealing a lot of damage. I make the run of the worm shown in the ss so far. There is a way to reach the worm by only having to fight a plant or whatever its called before. The key is to walk at the right spot in order for the scarabs and scorpions not to spawn. Here is the build i use :
Gladiator's endurance-Thats the skill that makes u have a lot of mana so u can keep daling a lot of damage
seeking blade
power attack
sever artery
gash
galrath's slash
dolyak signet
mending
healing prayers : 8
strength : 11+2 = 13 (I use the platemail helm with a rune of strenght)
swordsmanship : 11+1 = 12 (Rune of swordsmanship)
U can easily go for 12 str and 13 swordsmanship it makes no difference.
The fight is really easy if u have a str shield with 40+ life when enchanted and -2 damage when enchanted. (mine is +40 -2). If u dont have this, then its a lot harder. But u can still use a +5 defense sword pommel.
As soon as the worm pop out of the ground, hit dolyak signet and start with a power attack. Just keep hitting with all your skills, try to use galrath slash right after gash, because the worm doesnt seem to bleed and deep wound for very long. I use a sword with the cruel mod (lenghtens deep wound duration) because of that. Ideally i would add a sword pommel of defense +5 but the run is easy enough.
It takes 3 mins a run, and give a shell every 2 or 3 runs. After lets say 10-12 runs, the game pops a message and says if u keep running the same monster then his drop rates will go down. So i suggest u do the run 5-6 times, do somehting else, then come back for a few more. Hell just do the run when youre borred
.
If any questions, just ask.

Here's my Wurm Build for hunting bleached shells since everyone else is posting one.
Strength: 11 (10+1)
Swordsmanship: 11 (10+1)
Tactics: 13 (11+2)
Protection Prayers: 1
- Gash (Swordsmanship)
- Riposte (Tactics)
- Deadly Riposte (Tactics)
- Gladiator's Defense [Elite] (Tactics)
- "Watch Yourself!" (Tactics)
- Dolyak Signet (Strength)
- Healing Signet (Tactics)
- Mend Ailment (Protection Prayers)
Mend Ailment is there to get rid of blindness. I use Gladiator's Armor set with Knight's Boots. Major runes for Absorb & Vigor. At least a Zealot's Hilt on my sword. Everything else is pretty self explanatory. I've farmed many bleached shells with this build outside Dunes.

Here is the build I use:
Gladiators Defence
Reposite
Deadly Reposite
Gash (Sword w/ cruel hilt is best since worms have high natural resistance)
Dolyak
Mending
Healing Breeze/Signet
Balthazar's Spirit
For the last skill you can bring sprint if you dont want to fight The Enchanted, or you could bring Galrath slash, Final Thrust, even Watch Yourself! or something of the sort.
Zealous sword works better than Balth Spirit, IMO. You CAN use mend/BS/Zealous (-1nergy regen) and gain energy real fast, but just remember to take te zealous sword off while inbetween fights.
If you are using Deadly Reposite, Sever Artery is not needed. Just make sure you Gash the right one if you are fighting multiples (4 at a time was my record)
Again - I'll sell them to you if you are lazy and have the cash

MoNo

I use my pure mesmer to solo Sand Wurms. And I can probably do it faster than any warrior can.
Skills are something like: Empathy, Wastrel's Worry, Signet of Midnight, Spirit of Failure, Physical Resistance.
All conditions and hexes last half their normal time on these beasts. Wastrel's ftw.

No, actually sand wurms drop them too. I've had 2 drop in 4 runs right outside of Destiny's Gorge in The Scar. One always spawns in the area to the left of the Enterance to Gorge. It's never in the same spot so usually you need to run around for him to show up. There are a few Griffons and Devouers you you might need to kill those first.
The 2 Red markers are the places where it spawned for me a couple of times.
And I'm just using Racthoh's Fow spider build with some changed damage skills.

Those are carapaces... worth maybe 1/10th what you can sell the shells for.

Ninjutsu Honor Code
I mostly solo them with my Melee ranger near Dunes get like 1 or 2 in the first 2 runs. But its boring so i duo them with my gf and they drop them more occasional so they are kinda easy to get if you got the right skills.. and some luck too
