u know ive been readin just about evry farming thread and each one says something diff bout the same farming location take DC for example in one thread they r talking about how good its is and how many drops they get a run...and in another there saying its been nerfed,well i wanna know wtf is goin on...why is anet being soo hard on players...some players have a big money prob...and as soon as they figrue out a profitable spot Anet whacks them in the face with a big nerf bat its insane

though I'm against bots I commend you for starting a thread on the topic instead of trying to hijack another thread...
So far, drakes in the Crystal Desert have been pretty good to me. Nice environment, good sun, mobs fairly spaced out so there's no fear of being suddenly overwhelmed by them. And I've gotten a fair number of loot/gold there.
if you're after gold, try also the Ring of Fire missions. I average 1 to 2 plat each time I run a mission.

WOW, The biggest reason a-net is nerfing different locations for farming is because of all the people using bots, so if your complaing about the farming spots being nerfed maybe you should reconsider praising the people that are the cause for the problem.

I do not have a problem with farming. But the problem is bots. You are not supposed to use third party program and play the game. Goodness sake, that is exactly why the farm spots are so easily detected and nerfed. They detect bots farming the area, poof, nerf immediately or maybe a few days later.

i still find the dye farming in the searing a nifty lil trick...i always find black and silver dye often(havnt sold them yet)the river skales drop dyes often,grawls as well

You're so very right... it isn't fair. But they can't disable the bots cuz bots have nothing to do with the Anet servers. The way (I think) that it works, is that a program is scripted to control the keyboard controls.
1-Player logs on, bot takes over
2-bot finds portal or user dictates the exact coordinates from trader
3-bot runs through portal, then runs to exact coordinates previously defined by user
4-bot kills enemies or opens chests, auto-picks up all loot
5-bot zones back to map point previously defined by user
6-bot locates and runs to trader, auto-sells all items non-equipped
7-go back to 3
I'm not a programmer, but I can see how easy it would be if I knew anything about programming.

Secondly the only spots that will remain unnerfed are those that are not used by bots.
ANET is trying to not nerf spots just add mobs between chests etc. They ARE trying for the working man like us but for now they have to create a fix until they solve the problem or at least delay the cheaters. Because Cheaters will always find a way to cheat plain and simple.

You know what I don't understand, WHY in GW does the late game armour cost so much, I mean 60k is way beyond the reach of those that don't farm, so if they really really want to discourage farming so much why do they have these high prices? There needs to be other ways of making money cos right now it's farming or nothing.

When I go into a new Zone, I try to kill every dangerous thing in there... that's not farming.. that's making it safer for the citizens of Ascalon.... It's not my fault that the creatures I kill are mutilated to the point that only a few items are left intact!! I'm working on that.... So far, (cause I keep buying stuff 
) I have never had more than 1 plat bar at a time..... I don't see how those adventurers can aquire that much in such a short amount of time....
BTW.... If I see any robots out here.... I'll stick a few arrows in get 'em to leave!!

I can give you a hot tip on how to get more money... dont spend any, i have no problem making money because all i spend it on is Identify kits and Salvage kits (which i make more than enough money during each little adventure i go on to pay for them) I understand its nice to have all the super expensive armor dyed black with all the other doo dads, but i see no reason to spend 15k on armor that doesnt stack up to my 700GP-1k armor dyed blue, i mean ive beat all the missions and i havent changed anything on my guy since lions arch....
anyways right now im saving up for a Guild Hall so what i normaly do is i grab just the healer henchmen and i take off on an adventure and normaly come home one rich little Warrior
