Money

I keep reading how everyone makes 1k to 2k an hour farming and so forth. I am a level 15 and I only have 5k. I don't seem to make any good money farming. Are you guys selling your blue and purple items and counting that money in the 1k and 2k?
Any tips on getting lots of plat would be greatly appreciated. I know I will need to update my armor soon and read that it is like15k.

It's a mystery to all that don't know... Now a days, we can't tell where were farming or chest farming to get gold, or it will turn into "bot mania", and then, soon there after... the place get's "fixed" and then, no one can milk it for money...

Just for the record, i've lost all my "money milking" area's... and i would suggest to just go into underworld/fissure... (this is assuming you're not on a euro side... cause they don't get it that often... (except for of course, when "the wrong guild" is on...)

the 15k armor is optional, so don't worry about getting it. About earning money, I'm not gonna tell you where a good place is, because everyone will go there and it will end up nerfed like so many other good places, but advice i can give.. Look around, find the strongest area where you can fight alone, and go and kill there. you're a ranger, so pull enemies into traps. that is probably the best bet for a ranger.

People make 50k in an hour; you're uninformed. They do it by farming, which is the act of clearing an area over and over again to generate gold or items that are worth gold. Of course once arenet found out about this, they changed the drop rate, "nerfing" farm spots. There are now very few farm spots left.
