"i need to go." *IDLE* --- annoying freeloaders

I'd like to get in contact with his guild first really.
Unfortunately, I'm really not sure how to go about that.

I have the guild tag, which I used to find the guild name, I've got screenshots to share, but I don't have a name to contact.

The guild listings say the guild's rank, wins, losses, but no personal information whatsoever. I can't find out any of the members or contact anyone from it. =\

And yes, I know there's a chance he had an emergency, and I won't rule that out entirely. He AFK'd at the start though, and all the way through the entire Thunderhead Keep mission, which took a while, he never once said a single word, and in the end, still didn't say a thing.

I'll try and contact him first, but whatever the case, I expect some major apologizing if not punishment.


I'm all for a time-out drop that boots players from guild wars entirely if they idle for a certain duration.

In situation like that, I like to use the cutszene to go to the bathroom.

2 days ago, there was a character by the name of myst. i cannot remember the last name. the guy was a necro primary and warrior secondary. at any rate, during hell's precipice, after the second battle with those titans, he goes somewhere to hide. we asked if he's there and what not, no answer.

after killing the portal wraiths, he amazingly comes back to life only because he wanted to capture rurik's crappy 100 blades elite skill. from that point until the cutscene of lich saying the happenings were a minor annoyance, we were kicking ass without him. too bad one of our human monks rezzed him even though everybody including myself were telling him/her not to.

Sometimes a good healing monk just can't help themselves. I would've too.

ROFLOL That is so true! Cutscenes are bathroom time, get a can of pop time, etc.... Kinda like a commercial.

Although, if it's a first time view, I like to watch it simply to get a better feel for the story line!

Happened to me the other night, since it was me and a guildy going through the missions, (we made new chars), we knew what we were doing, so we grabbed 2 other guys, let em know what we were doing, and headed out into the mission. Well, we start going, and then realize their is only 3 of us, the 4th guy, just sat at the beginning, never said a word. So, since it was the 2 of us and 1 other guy, we just regrouped back at town, and started over. Now if this guy had done most of the mission, then "dissapeared" I may have finished the mission, but I'm not going to put up with free rides.

Same with all you new runners out there, anyone else seen the ascalon to piken 500g runs? ya, my guildy and I saw this, said something got flamed, then offered free runs to piken. hehe, we got flamed so bad, was awesome.

There is a simple solution: play only with people you know

Certain missions I could name aren't very easy like that. While for most, I grab hench, Thunderhead Keep is a major pain. Lina and Mhenlo WILL heal the King, unlike what some people say, but only under the same conditions as everyone else. If he's out of range, they won't do anything for him. And in their effort to keep their healing efficient and manage their energy, they may let him die, as they do anyone else =\

But yes, I primarily play with a single friend and hench, because I don't want to put up with that kind of behaviour. I keep talk, emotes, and trade channels off because of how often people are spamming (or in the competition arena waiting area, even cybering rarely, and just being otherwise perverse generally). There're some great people out there I'm missing out on meeting, but I just can't see them outweighing all the frustrations I'm avoiding, and that's sad. =/
