uncustomize weapons and usable armors with the same name?

was hoping that arenanet could uncustomize weapons and the crafted armors we have can be used with the same name(what i mean is when a char is deleted the armors that u kept can be used if the name and the class is the same) this is kinda good for gw but kinda bad too i guess. sry for grammar.

I dont think that they should put in 'uncustomize' weapons. It is your choice to get the extra 20% customization ... and so if you bought a (sample) 100K max dmg crystalline +15% while health>50% ... you paid that 100K and should then customize it to keep it for your character. If you want a change every so often then I would say to those to buy less expensive weapons. If you customize a baseball glove to fit your hand ... will it be able to be customized to another person? ... What about skis?

Customizing is a good option which gives a fantastic benefit, but for good reason, the cost is in resale. No weapon will give you +20 all the time (at least none in my bag)

Um... the uncustomized weapons part has been flamed and put down too many times already, by me and many others. I'll just be brief and nice saying it's probably not going to happen since it'll defy the entire purpose of customization. Same with armor... too many people are going to end up abusing it by just making a pvp char and making same name, not to mention it makes no sense to "uncustomize" a small platemail by using mighty morphing powers into a larger one.

The only way I can see this happening is if the price to custimize was really, really high. However, I like the current layout right now.

only customize weapons that you definitely know you will keep that character.

Another thing with customizing weapons is that it prevents people from using the PvP weapons on their PvE characters. Otherwise you could just store a PvP weapon and then withdraw it with a low level character and you get an instant max weapon with awesome mods.
