is it worth it?

i need to decide what armor to get.i like the look of knights armor but is it worth it to get plate?cause

knights armor has 80 armor with less damge from attacks an 10%+ armor against physical

and

plate is 85 armor with 10%+ armor against physical attacks

is it alot better for plate or can i get knights and not have much less def?
and how far away is it until you can get dragon armor?

Best thing to do with those two armors is get one piece of knight's and the rest platemail.

Dragon Armor is no better than Plate and can be obtained in the Granit Citadel. Its really a personal prference thing. I have a suit of knights and a suit of plate and they both seem to provide the same protection granted I have a superior rune of absorbtion on my plate adnonly a major on my knoights.

Its not. Do a search you will find many threads on this.

Damage dealt to you is randomly done to one armor piece. Your chest piece is always hit by projectiles and most other direct damage spells.

since the majority of hits are taken to the chest....do one piece of the expensive high level armor(make it your chest piece) and then save some cash by purchasing the less expensive armor for everything else.

btw...hitboxes are not random
