Bows and Combo's

I was just curious to what a good bow would be to use to do some good damage, but also what are good combos, like right now my combo for my ranger is to use ignite arrow, then use dual shot which does 4 serperate sets of damage which is okay.. though there goes 20 energy and 5 left over . So id really like to know what are some good combo's for rangers and what bows i should get, right now i have an eternal and a short bow.

Put points into expertise, alot of points. You will be able to use alot more skills then. As for good bows, save your money and get a collector bow, there is a longbow +15% damage when your health is over 50, max damage, located outside of Elonas I think, you need 5 topaz crests to get it. If your too low of a level to be in the Elona area, get a guildie to grab it for you. If your a loner, pay for it, it should cost around 4k Im guessing. Dont spend money on crap 'rares' that arent nearly as good.

As for combos, experiment. Rangers have alot of options, bow attacks, pet attacks, traps etc. Figure out what you like, with 150 skills available to you, there are craploads of combos.

Almost right...there are several collectors in the desert and in South Shiverpeak who are trading Ascalon bows with 15% dmg > 50% health. BUT they are not all longbows. I tested it myself (which is not to say that is the only truth....) with a real longbow and the several Ascalon bows. Only one bow equals the longbow and thats the one you get from Sir Pohl Sanbert who trades dune borrow jaws.

Maybe this saves you a lot of effort...I did it the hard way to finally get such a longbow....

What do you mean, equals a longbow? You talking about range?

He means exact specs. Collectors give you ascalon bows, which can have specs of various bows.
