Question as to selling unidentified objects-

I didnt know if this should go here or ventaris sell [etc] so ill post it here.

Why do I soemtimes see people selling unidentified gold weapons? Are they worth more? I have a gold, max damage axe, that I havent identified yet, and I dont know if I should identify it or try to sell as is.

Im aware with how this works with gold armor, but not gold weapons.

They sell it that way because once ID'd, you could unlock something for PvP. You can sell it for a little bit more than ID'd simply because they may get somethign extra out of it. Of course the buyer could end up with a piece of crap so it's a big gamble. UNID'd runes, atleast you know the profession the rune is for.
