Does this happen often??

I have noticed in a few places, where I have never been before, that about 3 out of 5 times the chests I find are totally empty.

I assumed from what I've been reading here, this was an oddity...but am wondering if any of you find empty chests the first time you've seen them?

Yes, I've got to say that I find a LOT of empty chests. I sort of stand there looking at the pretty lights thinking, "OK...it's gonna come flying out of there any second now..." About a minute later I figure it out.

are you running solo or with henchmen. if your running with henchies than they probabley took the loot. if your running by yourself than i would think that that is a pretty rare, it also might be a chest that was abused by bots and so now it's been nerfed

Yup....using henchies. I didn't think they took a share of the drops though. Guess I was wrong. *pout*
