Post-Searing only since Pre-searing is pretty uniform and not really "a part" of the rest of the world

My favorite places so far:

The Beaches around Sanctum Cay and Kryta Province
The Salt Flats outside Seeker's Passage
Glint's grain of sand

None others come to mind that I've really really enjoyed.

Spearhead Peak (my favorite part of the Shiverpeaks)
Stingray Strand (the part where you can see the floating castle)
Mineral Springs (this is the only game that I've ever seen that convincingly captures snowblindness)

Many places in the crystal desert. My mind is blank and I cant even think of the name of the place. Out where you complete the 15 atribbute quest.

I love the huge statues.

If pre-searing counted I would have said the hidden spot close to Ft.Ranik

I like the little fortress island in the Watchtower Coast, out of Divinity Coast. Also, the peak of the little mountain in Majesty's Rest looks great too. (Where the draggies are.)

Majesty's rest.... the sun shimmering through the trees onto the ground below, the shady woodlands and the feeling of devilish eyes glinting at you through the foliage. OMG WTF...a dragon, lol.

I like the end location of the first +15 quest. The satisfaction of being 15 points up just combines perfectly with the majestic view over the desert.

That there is such tranquility after so many long hard fights makes it a moment to savour.

There are a lot of scenic places in this game.

One of my favorite places is outside Droknar's Forge in Talus Chute. There's a tall, narrow path of ice northwest (?) of the gate. You can see over the surrounding mountain and peer down into the depths of the valley below.

I also like the end of the first attribute quest. Running over the fallen statue to the plateau where the view of the surrounding desert is stunning. I spent a good amount of time there admiring the view.

I believe it's the Gates of Kryta mission where you reunite Oink! with his owner. From the point when you exit that outpost and head out onto the beach is another favorite of mine. Running through the shallow waters, hunting drake and searching for that lost book in the tropical locale is great.

My favorite was in Hell's Precipice and the portals there. The scenery -around- the portals isn't much---rather lunar---but the portals themselves are outstandingly beautiful.

My favorite place is Dragon's Gullet, just north of where althea shes rest. The burned out cathedrals with the sun shining through the stained glass onto the ground i thought was breath taking, along with the veritable sea of tar. I go there a lot.

My favorite is the Wizard's Tower.

Seeing the transformation from pre-searing (Where it's anchored to the ground in the ice-capped mountains) to Post searing (Where you see it floating near Galraith) is just tremendously cool.

Spearhead Peak is definitely pretty cool...the bit where you're steadily climbing a steep peak is compelling to say the least, although I wish there was a bit more of that "mountain climbing" feel.

I also really like the swampy area around the Temple of Ages. Everything really feels...dead there.

Me, too.

I also love the spot in the game where it starts to snow for the first time....passed Yaks bend - Never fails to get a comment from a first timer (-oh - ahh - nice)

But my favorite spot to do busy work like shift inventory etc., is Ice Tooth Cave (International Dist)
It's quiet, ethereal & the lighting is amazing.

I loooove the very top of Beacon's Perch. You get to the top of the tower and look out at the valley and rows of mountains. Best view in the game. I'll post a pic tonight.

I explored this map with henchmen. This map is HUGE, full of annoying monsters. After hours of frustration I told myself I would delete the game if I didn't find anything as a reward for this (self)torture. Then I arrived on the top of the hill opening the full view of the Falls...
Yeah, you guessed it, I still play the game.
