I am trying to complete the Undead Hordes quest in Beetletun, but even after killing all the undead mobs, including the ones past the marker that didn't charge the town, it never lets me finish it. I am smiting monk, so maybe I should be glad to just farm it over and over, but I just want to move on at this point.
I've killed everything three different times. Is there something I'm missing that is preventing the quest from being completed?

I had this problem too, I killed everything, But it wouldn't let me finish the quest. So I just did it again. Have you been doing it with henchman? The last time I did it (when it worked) I did it with real people.

How long did you wait for a new group? Perhaps you were jumping the gun a bit? Wait around, some more might still need to spawn.

The time it screwed up for me, the quest was grayed out but it didn't say for me to get my reward. So I had killed all but I couldn't get the reward.

Yup, all henchies. Haven't tried it with real people yet.

I had this problem too, the quest marker pointed to next to the rez shrine and there were no undead left to kill.
However what did to complete it was to walk down the path that goes to the right. Out of nowhere these Mist Wraiths popped up. Only when i killed THEM [Smoke Wraith and some Mist Wraith] did my quest actually finish. I think for some reason they just don't get triggered with the other hordes, chances are some mobs don't get triggered to "spawn" causing the quest to fail.
However what did to complete it was to walk down the path that goes to the right. Out of nowhere these Mist Wraiths popped up. Only when i killed THEM [Smoke Wraith and some Mist Wraith] did my quest actually finish. You should send it in to Anet as a bugged quest. (Even though killed 20 lvl 1 ghosts with meteor storm and pheonix is fun 
)

I had this too when doing it with all henchies and the group is down the bottom of the hill and won't come up. You have to kill that group and then be near enough the spawn point so the last 2 groups will spawn.

after you complete it or think you have hit "L" and go to yoru quest log and switch it to another quest then back to that one.. that might help it give you the notice that you are done..

Yep, same experience last night on my alt. Quest seems bugged for some in that you have to trigger the last group to spawn or they won't. Different then when my main went through it weeks ago.
