Runescape vs. Guildwars

I thnk most people know what runescape is and how it is incedibly dull and how it has horrible graphics. But I know this kid who is extremely loyal to that game and i am trting to show him how much better GW is but he just wont listne what could i do to open his eyes so he can see the simple truth... GUILD WARS OWNS RUNESCAPE!

i spent more time picking my character than i did playing .......

SHHHH! Dont tell the kids about guild wars. They are the reason runscape turned out to be newbscape.

Seriously, one of my little brothers freinds started what I call, the runescape conspiricy.

My god. About runescape that game has got to be the most hyped up piece of garbage I have ever played. Ughh I cannot profess to you how much I despised that game. So boring.

I am ashamed that I played Runescape for 6 months.....

Agreed. The community on that game not only lacks the ability to keep a person interested, but its scam, dupe, bot, hack city. Runescape representitives say they keep all that out, when all they do is make a banner "Don't trust anyone.", slap a sword on it, and call the problem fixed. My friend, who thinks every game besides Runescape looks like Everquest (And he hates EQ), was scammed on there 3 times in a day, once for his addy armor and rune 2h. The game is full of idiots.

The only thing I will give that game is it is the best Java game I have seen to date, but that isnt saying much.

I have a level 79 character i made in 3 months...3 Months! Mining is 76, smithing 64, etc. all those silly things. Good riddance!

You can't really compare them for Rune lacks any originality, has poor graphics, and is written in Java, a byte interpreted "Virtual Processor" (i.e. emulated).

If you had to compare, RS = -4. GW=12 with 10 being highest

*Edit* The_communist, in answer to your question, in my humble opinion, if he's a god in Runescape leave him there. He'll get bored after a while of not getting to the top and just pk-loot, pk-loot, etc. If he isn't that high level, then when the 90+ people kill him in the wilds, he'll be askin you about gw cause he'll have to beg to replace is zammy shield (1-1.5 million), and guthix helm (450-750k), etc.

If he is a friend in real life, have him over this weekend or after the release in two weeks. hehehe The graphics pull you in and immerse you, there is no turning back
