What's the best way see the impact of skills for Warriors?

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before... But i'm on my third Character through the game, and finally decided to play as a warrior. Personally, while it's fun - I'm finding it -hard- to know -when- my warrior related weapon skills have either struck or missed their targets.

Strength & Tactics skills are easy to witness - A shout, followed by a status effect. However, how do I -know- that my 'Mighty Blow' actually struck the target, other than the blitz of yellow numbers appearing above the enemy's head?

When I'm targetted by a skill of that nature, I receive red letters indicating that i've been hit by a particular skill. I don't suppose there's some sort of unusual customization, or plans to implement the reversal of that, is there?

- Best Regards,
The Marvin

There isn't exactly a blitz of yellow numbers... Yellow is your damage, so there should only be one per attack. You'll know your attack landed if you don't see block or evade there instead of a number.

And if there isn't a noticeable change in health when you use an attack skill, put more points into it, for petes sake.

If you use an attack skill, and your next attack hits, then your attack skill worked.

Well - Perhaps 'blitz' was the wrong word. I was simply noting that it would help for -me- to see some sort of verbal, not only numerical indication of a hit. Thanks for the responses.

I wish the game had a combat log too.

Well, for the one that causes bleeding, watch their health bar and if it turns darker you know it worked.

Other than that, there's really no way to tell. Just compare the damage before using your skill to the damage after you hit a button. If it hits, usually you've done more damage.

I'm actually not that sure how to check how a skill like hamstring has connected now that you mention it.
