PC on Gold Monk Staff

Awesome staff. The mods alone are worth over 100k. I'm sure somebody would pay much more than that for it if you sold it.

thanks.
weird. now it seems as if the pic isnt working.
anyhow it was a gold hale holy staff of fortitude.
max dmg. 11-22
13 DF req (kinda high, i know)
cast speed/recharge 10/10 (for any skill, not just divine favor)
+30 (head)
+30 (wrapping)
any other opinions?

To start off this long post, I'd like to say that's one of the better staves I've seen for a general monk.
I could give you a general quote of it although you should know I don't have much experience with pricing staves.
First off, I'm playing a monk right now and although he's just starting out, I grabbed Peace and Harmony from the rogue xunlai person thingy in Snake Dance. Since getting this skill, I haven't attacked at all. So the 13 divine favor requirement won't make much of a difference in my opinion. I've seen a lot of monks both healing and protection use Peace and Harmony for their elite.
Secondly, the 10/10 recharge/cast rate is excellent for healing or protection monks who want the benefits of staff upgrades.
Third, and sadly the downside, is that these healing/protection monks who switch to staves for the upgrade benefits are not after health upgrades. Almost all the monks I know who use staves use the collector's holy staff with insightful head and enchantment wrappings. This is especially true for protection monks as most of what they cast are enchantments. But regardless, those are top notch upgrades and their combined value is much over 100k. However, as they're both in the same item, that drops the value.
Overall, I'd value this staff at 100-125k. If you're looking to sell it, you may have to settle for much less than the value. The summary of reasons being that the high requirement doesn't matter much and the perfect 10/10 is a boon. However, the 2 +30 health upgrades are a waste (in my opinion) on this staff, but their presence should also be considered into the value.
Finally, I don't often see staves like this exchanging hands when I idle in trade districts. I'd like to hear other people's opinions and quotes also.

wow. now THAT is a quote. believe it or not, i was thinking about replacing the head with a perfect +5 insightful head. it would be more useful to my monk. and being that i have another +30 head, and an extra +5 head, i dont consider it a waste on my part (of either head).
i do agree with you that the 13 req isnt as crazy as i initially thought. thanks again for the very insightful (haha) post.

That is an awesome stave... Where in the world did you find it?
Bueno Star
pieced it together. when i bought the actual staff it had +27,+26 upgrades.
the staff itself, i bought in Droknar's from another player.
