hi guys,
i am started with a necromancer/monk, but i have heard all those rumors that when you want to make a powerfull necromancer, the second profession you need is mesmer. I hope you guys can give me some more information about this subject.
And i my second profession has to be mesmer, which skills i have to use, and how to spend my stats
thx guys,
Necro/Monk or Necro/mesmer

Both are pretty good choices of secondary profession for a Necromancer. I've seen some powerful Necromancer/Monks, but yes, Necromancer/Mesmer is a very good combination, if you know how to use it. It is one of those combinations which seems to just... blend well. It's up to you, anyway.

I think you will have a lot more fun as a Necro/Mes. Invest some points in illusion (and use conjure phantasm) to supplement the life syphon that you cast on your foes. It is so fun to watch that health bar slide down to 0.
The last several missions however....it is nicer to be a monk. So I would suggest that you change secondaries to monk after ascension. Then you can have the best of both worlds.
My necro's secondary was elementalist. I did switch it to monk for a bit. But now that she has completed Hell's Precipice, I am off to turn her into a mes secondary to have some fun.
