second prof

please dont hate. this has probably been done b4. but do u NEED a second profession. i wud prefer to be an all powerful elementalist.

No you don't. Does mean your be able to placed ALL your attibute points into your elementalist.

However having a secondary does help... there are some great combos out there to use.

But its completely up to you.

I was E/Me before and I didn't use any mesmer skills.. not even energy stealing. I changed for a Monk and found it quite usefull, with 8 points in healing I have a health regen of 3 with mending and I got a res skill I can use as often as I want (or need in fact).

Every second profession could enhance your game play, depending on how your play your character. And not having a second profession doesn't make you stronger, you can avoid putting point in your 2nd profession attributes anyway.

to leave Presearing you have to take a 2nd profession


you can still only carry elementalist skills tho

I'm pretty sure I have seen single profession people running about in later areas of the game after the searing.

I've only seen one. In my experience sir tidus won't give me the quest till I take on a secondary.

Pvp only characters are able to not have a secondary though.

As for the original question, if you don't have a secondary, you'll have to waste an elite tab by using ether renewal or ether prodigy.

accually with my second char, i got my second proffesion without doin the second proffesion quest thing, i sitll got the quest to leave pre searin, so im guessing its possible to leave with just one proffesion
